Community Collaboration

What started as a sketch became so much more. After sketching palm trees and shapes on a sunglasses cloth, we put our heads together with the team at Nectar Sunglasses and said, “what if we put this on a cloth in real life?”

Nectar came by the JG studio to explore the shapes and colors that would speak to our East Coast-inspired collaboration. We wanted the design to feel authentic, happy, and just a little salty. The design became known as "Native Palms," a nod to the palm trees here on our Charleston coast, and to the three local businesses involved in the project.

Of course, we also needed to ensure that the shapes would fit the Yoloha Yoga cork yoga mats, which were the inspiration behind the cork sunglasses case and ear pieces!
